ResidenciesPathologyThe Department of Pathology's five-year residency program includes a four-year integrated experience in anatomic and clinical pathology. Anatomic pathology includes autopsy and surgical pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, forensic pathology, renal pathology, exfoliative and aspiration cytology, immunohistochemistry and diagnostic electron microscopy. Clinical pathology includes experience in hematology, molecular pathology, coagulation, blood bank, flow cytometry, immunopathology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, cytogenetics, toxicology and transplantation immunology. All house staff participate in teaching sophomore medical students. Other opportunities for teaching are available.
