Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery

The faculty, residents, and staff at the University of Missouri’s Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery work together to provide excellent and compassionate medical and surgical patient care as well as superb training for doctors who have chosen to specialize in this area.  Our research mirrors our clinical questions and lets us develop new and better ways to care for our patients.

The OtoHNS department was ‘born’ in January 2004, as it transitioned from a division of the Department of Surgery. Being a separate department gives us the flexibility to grow and develop our patient care initiatives, our residency training, and our research program.
