Medical Insurance for Medical Students

The School of Medicine requires all students to carry health/accident insurance. Verification of your enrollment will be collected on an annual basis. The University offers an Accident & Sickness Insurance plan in which enrollment is voluntary.

Students must re-enroll for the insurance each period to continue annual or semester-by-semester coverage.

Dental

A dental plan is also available, and students do not have to enroll in the Accident & Sickness Insurance to sign up for dental coverage.

Insurance Web Site

Student insurance is offered through Aetna Student Health, which has a dedicated section of its site for Mizzou's plan. The School of Medicine encourages students to consult the valuable information there.
