CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System

The BRFSS, the world’s largest phone survey, tracks health

risks in the United States.  Information from the survey is

used to improve the health of the American people.

 

Missouri BRFSS

The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) is

a state-based system of health surveys that generate

information about health risk behaviors, clinical preventive

practices, and health care access and use primarily related

to chronic diseases and injury.

 

MU Center for Health Care Quality

The Center for Health Care Quality is an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to fostering collaboration in quality improvement education and research through educational programs and research projects.

 

Missouri Information for Community Assessment (MICA)

MICA is an interactive system that allows the user to create and download tables, based on selected variables from various collected health data files.

 

Center for Agricultural, Resource and Environmental Systems (CARES)

CARES uses GIS (Geographic Information Systems), remote sensing, environmental modeling and internet mapping to help better address resource, environmental and socio-economic issues.
