Institutional loan program

Medical School Foundation/University Long-Term Loan: This is an institutional, need-based loan available primarily to third- and fourth-year medical students. There is no interest accruing while the student is enrolled at MU. Repayment starts six months after graduation. The current interest rate is 8 percent and the loan must be repaid in seven years. The usual award is $3,000 per year. Funding for this program is made possible by donations from alumni and friends of the University. Applications are available from the MU School of Medicine Financial Aid Office.
