University of Missouri - MU
Department of Dermatology Residency Program

The primary goal of our Dermatology program is to provide excellent clinical training. Our residents receive a comprehensive educational experience in clinical dermatology, dermatopathology and dermatologic surgery. We also ensure protected time for our residents to read and participate in scholarly activities within their normal "duty hours".

Our residents provide dermatologic care to patients at various locations and we have a very close relationship with our primary care colleagues.  Our program includes an active inpatient consultation service.

Our residents have a 100% board certification rate.

The Department of Dermatology has maintained an active, accredited residency program since 1967. Graduates of the Residency program are found throughout the world in clinical and academic practices. Although our primary focus is clinical dermatology, we do have an ongoing clinical research program, and fourteen graduates of our residency program are currently involved in full-time academic dermatology practices.
