Learning Ojectives:
At the conclusion of this program, you as a participant will be able to;
- Differentiate between migraine headaches, ocular headaches and sinus headaches in the female patient, and recommend current evidence-based therapies.
- Understand the etiology, workup and management of dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
- Counsel patients about the potential efficacy, risk and benefit of bio-identical hormones.
- Discuss the impact of sports medicine on women’s health.
- Understand fibromyalgia from a psychiatrist’s perspective.
- Delineate the current diagnosis and management of thyroid disease in the female patient.
- Discuss the diagnosis and management of systemic lupus erythematosus in the female patient.
- Explain to your patients the elements of the basic infertility workup.
- Counsel patients regarding proper nutrition throughout life.
- Recognize and manage vulvadynia.
- Delineate the current workup and management of deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolus in Pregnancy.
- Understand the etiology, workup and management of urinary incontinence in the female patient.
